Rachel Megan Warila Receives 2015 Phi Kappa Phi Love of Learning Award

Rachel Megan Warila of Mountain Home, Idaho, recently was awarded a Love of Learning award worth $500 from The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi--the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. Warila is one of 80 recipients nationwide to receive the award.

Warila, doctoral candidate in the College of Pharmacy at Idaho State University, will apply funds from the award toward tuition.

Warila was initiated into the Society in 2014 at Idaho State University.

The Love of Learning program, implemented in 2007, grants 160 awards annually to support active Society members' graduate or professional studies, doctoral dissertations, continuing education, career development, and travel related to teaching and studies. The Society's robust award programs give more than $1 million each biennium to qualifying students and members through graduate fellowships, undergraduate study abroad grants, member and chapter awards, and grants for local and national literacy initiatives.
