Phi Kappa Phi Selects 2025-2026 Council of Students

Baton Rouge, LA (10/02/2025) — The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society, is proud to announce the selection of its 2025-2026 Council of Students.The Council is composed of eight student vice presidents from Phi Kappa Phi chapters across the country. Together, they will serve as the Society's student engagement committee, providing valuable perspectives on student needs and helping shape initiatives that foster connection and leadership within the Society.

Established in 2007, the Council is tasked with enhancing communication with student vice presidents in the Society's five divisions. Council members lead Potential Member Information Sessions, host the Student Vice President Virtual Speaker Series, and serve as advocates for the Society's Fall Service Project and Phi Kappa Phi Week. Council members serve a one-year term.

"We are thrilled to welcome this outstanding group of student leaders," said Dr. Bradley R. Newcomer, Executive Director and CEO of Phi Kappa Phi. "Their voices, ideas, and energy will help Phi Kappa Phi continue to create meaningful opportunities for student engagement across disciplines and campuses."

Phi Kappa Phi inducts approximately 20,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni annually. The Society has chapters on more than 300 select colleges and universities in the United States and its territories. Membership is by invitation only to the top 10 percent of seniors and graduate students and 7.5 percent of juniors.
