Phi Kappa Phi Restructures Award Programs, Increases Funding for Members
Baton Rouge, LA (09/10/2026) — The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines, has announced a restructuring of its award and grant programs that will increase funding opportunities for members while continuing the Society's commitment to awarding more than $1 million annually.
Beginning with the upcoming award cycle, Phi Kappa Phi will increase funding for three of its programs. The Pioneer Program will provide 50 awards of $1,500 each to undergraduate members, while the Graduate Research Grant program will also provide 50 grants of $1,500 each. The Society's Love of Learning program will provide 200 awards of $1,000 each to support members pursuing post-baccalaureate professional development.
Through these changes, Phi Kappa Phi is increasing its investment in members at important stages of their academic and professional journeys. The enhanced funding will provide additional support for undergraduate scholars developing their research, engagement and leadership skills, graduate students pursuing research, and members continuing their learning and professional development.

The Society's award and grant programs provide more than $1 million annually to outstanding members through opportunities supporting study abroad, graduate and dissertation research, post-baccalaureate professional development, undergraduate achievement, and literacy initiatives.
